How To Play With A Cut Capo

Emphasis on "play"

I've gotten some questions about cut capos and though I don't use them much, I found some cool ways to inspire your playing. If you'd like to pick up one of these cool G7th ones click here.

Cool!

Never seen that done before.

Me either :)

That's what makes it so fun.

Yeah, have one on my Christmas list

They looked fun to use.

I have an open E cut capo that I use for times when I am jamming with my daughter (she has a cajon I made her). I have also used two capo's. The open cut on the 4th fret and a full capo on the second. It gives you the drop d type of sound but in a higher register which is unique.

I'm hoping I will get one if not I'll likely just buy one to see what fun I can have with it. Oh and for finger pickers these things will give you a whole new dimension to what you can do.

Thanks Jason great vid!
