How To Be A Diva

We all know that divas don't belong on worship teams, but that doesn't prevent us from acting like them on occasion. If you're not sure if you're a diva, here's a guide to becoming one.

Care only about yourself! Do what’s in the best interest of you. Remember, at the end of the day it’s all about you. Don’t show up on time. Be late to everything, but insist on being the star. Make sure you're always center where everyone can see you. Your monitor mix should definitely be louder than everyone else’s. Constantly ask for more of yourself and your monitor mix.

Christ was never a diva and we do our best to emulate Him.

Don’t prepare. Show up and just wing it, you're good enough. Always react defensively to constructive criticism. Complain about everything. Point out everything that everyone else is doing that is wrong. Only show up for services. Don’t get involved in small groups and definitely don’t show up for community gatherings where everyone just hangs out. Remember, you are there for one purpose and one purpose only… And that’s to shine! Diva Las Vegas, baby!

Conclusion

Nobody is perfect but the thing to always keep in mind is Christ was never a diva and we do our best to emulate Him. Have fun. Stay humble. Be a servant.
