Guide to Playing Worship EG2

Tips and tutorials on how to play EG2 and ways to approach it to get better.

EG2 Tips and Tricks

In this video, Jason and Nick talk about Electric Guitar 2. What is it? Why is it called EG2? Tired of the same chords? We give some tips and tricks on what you could possibly do if found in a few different scenarios as EG2.

Better Way to Play the Same Chords

In this video, Nick shows you two of the chord shapes that shaped his rhythm electric guitar playing. Using these shapes is a lot of fun and really helps unlock the fretboard, but it can take time to master, so have patience. The ideas are very simple, but it will take practice!

No More Boring Chords: Triad Inversions

In this video, Nick teaches you two different triad inversion types. We also go over the rooting triad and how to locate these inversions in Nick's own way. Trying to keep this as simple as possible and keeping these videos to two inversion types is the goal.

Unlock the Fretboard

In this video, Nick shows how he learned the notes of the fretboard, through octave mapping, which led him to ripping solos. Showcasing a few tips he learned along the way and hopefully making it easy to understand. A lot of what guitar and music really is, is a bunch of repeating things. The fretboard is the exact same.
