Do Worship Teams Need Guitar Players?

Hi Jason. Wow, just enjoyed you and Nick's discussion about worship teams needing guitar players.
Absolutely awesome points. But the "drop the mic" moment was your point that sound guys need
to KNOW the song every bit as much as the front of room people. The sound board is ABSOLUTELY another instrument in the band. And pretty much the single most important, in my opinion.
It is frustrating to put in the time practicing and creating voices for a song that fit and are complimentary
only to have your effort be lost in the "wall of sound".
Doing live worship music at your church is not about any of US, but I'm pretty sure that no one on any
team volunteered to be just a "prop", like an arrangement of flowers.
Keep up the good work!
