Pedal Demo and Tutorial: Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master

The pedal that final remplaed my old Boss DD-3, and I couldn't be happier.

The reverb on the Dispatch Master can be soft and subtle, or turn into an underground cave. Even in its extremes though, it never fully washes out the direct signal. It can be used soley as either reverb or delay but the combination of the two is what makes this pedal exceptional.

As you'll see in the video it can handle ambient volume swells, bright overdrive and I love the way it works with a slide. I can keep going on about it but you might as well just hear it in action.

I've got my volume and overdrive in front of the preamp and the Dispatch Master in the effects loop.

This little box can handle most of what you throw at it and it's a rare occasion that you will need something more in the reverb and delay department. I love the tone and can't see it leaving the Worship Artistry Pedalboard anytime soon.

You can hear this pedal in action in lessons for Come Alive, Blessed Assurance (My King Is Coming), and Miraculum.

Tap capability?

Didn't see anything mentioned about tap tempo in your video or on the manufacturer's website. Is that available, or can you only turn the Time knob?

I mentioned at the end of the video

that there is no tap tempo. It's definitely an issue if you are used to having it by I've never used tap tempo because I ballpark it live and have time to set it perfectly in the studio so it doesn't bother me personally.

Acoustic

Can you use this on an acoustic guitar? How should an acoustic guitar sound be set up?

Definitely

You would want to run after any other effects. I'm actually working on a post about live sound for an acoustic guitar that I'm hoping to have up on Thursday so stay tuned of that!

Dispatch Master

I picked one up. I have a HD 500 Line 6 any suggestion?

Have fun

And after playing with it tell us your favorite settings.

Can you do a demo for

The "tc electronic flash back delay" (mini or the original)

And the " tc electronic hall of fame reverb" (mini or original)
