Pedal Demo and Tutorial: Earthquaker Devices Organizer
Setup
Overall thoughts
As far as octave pedals go, the Earthquaker Devices Organizer brings some unique qualities with it's true bypass and all analog direct signal, easy to dial controls and leslie-like warble. You may have noticed the high pitch frequency that kicked in when I turned the Lag past the 3:00 position. While it really stood out in the video, when a band is playing it's not an issue but it is something to be aware of.
Be sure to check out the related lessons below to really hear it in context. I'm happy to take questions and comments below. If you'd like to purchase this pedal, I'd love it if you'd do it at Zzounds. It helps us out at the blog and it's also may favorite online place to shop all things music. You can buy one here.

Signal chain placement

I just purchased a used Organizer on Reverb, mainly after some research that finished at your video. I'm excited for the pedal to arrive, and I've already started trying to figure out where it would work best in my signal chain. Mainly I was wondering if you place it before or after a volume pedal. (I'm a meat and potatoes kind of player, so this kind of heavy pitch shifting and modulation is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I saw a worship band recently where the lead guitarist handled all of the pad duty and I was very impressed and inspired.) thanks for the great video!
