Praise Songs to Introduce to Your Congregation

Praise songs you should introduce to your congregation.

You may already be leading some of these! Or maybe you're behind in keeping up with all the new releases–we totally get it.

Here are some praise worship songs we recommend you add to your song library:

Praise by Elevation Worship (feat. Brandon Lake, Chandler Moore, Chris Brown)

A powerful declaration of biblical truths. A song both young and old can enjoy–we've all got a reason to praise! We love the lyrics in the bridge:

I'll praise 'cause You're sovereign, praise 'cause You reign

Praise 'cause You rose and defeated the grave

I'll praise 'cause You're faithful, praise 'cause You're true

Praise 'cause there's nobody greater than You

I Believe by Phil Wickham

In many ways, Phil Wickham can do no wrong. Songs he's written have resonated with the Church (This Is Amazing Grace, Great Things, Battle Belongs) and this one is no different.

All praise to God the Father

All praise to Christ the Son

All praise to the Holy Spirit

Our God has overcome

The King who was and is and evermore will be

In Jesus mighty name, I believe

Praise You Anywhere by Brandon Lake

The newest one in this bunch. A song that walks through circumstances people in your congregation may be going through, declaring He is worthy of praise anywhere.

I'll praise You anywhere

Praise, give Him praise, give Him praise

In my highest grace, give Him praise, give Him praise

In my highest, He is worthy

Yes, He is worthy of all of the praise

Ancient Gates by Brooke Ligertwood

A bit more relaxed than the other praise songs. But if your congregation needs a little bit of a softer entry, this one is great!

So praise Him like we're there in glory

Here and now He's just as holy

Jesus He's so worthy of it all

Awake My Soul by Hillsong Worship

A cry for our soul to awake and praise the Lord. This one's less "jumpy" praise, but a postured praise and declaration of the heart.

And when he moves

And when we pray

Where stood a wall now stands a way

Where every promise is amen

And when he moves

Make no mistake

The bowels of hell begin to shake

All hail the lord all hail the king
