Welcome to Worship Artistry!

You are joining thousands of musicians at all different skill levels who are dedicating their talents to serving the One who blessed them with their gifts. We want you to get the most out of your experience here so we’ve created this page to launch you into the Worship Artistry community. Start off with this short tutorial vid, and then jump in!

Want to sound like the recording? We can help you with that.

We get it. You want to create music that matches the fullness and energy you hear on your favorite worship recordings, but your church doesn’t have a worship team with 30 people on it. No problem.  All our arrangements are designed with a five-piece band in mind. There’s no need to sift through twenty different guitar tracks to pick out the most important parts or piece together drum grooves and loop beats.  We’ve spent hours on every song distilling all the main lead parts into one so you can sound as close to the record as possible.

Don’t have a full band? No problem. Our acoustic and keyboard lessons all feature a chapter on leading the song on your own so you aren’t out of luck if one of your musicians can’t make it.

Become an actual musician

There are plenty of tools out there that promise to take all the effort out of playing music. We’re not interested in doing that. We are teachers that are personally invested in you growing into your gifts. To that end, we’re here to arrange music for you and teach it in the most understandable way possible. It’s your job to take if from there but if you do, there is no way you won’t be a better musician in 6 months than you are today.

Getting the rest of your team onboard

Did you get a team plan? Read this to learn how to invite the rest of your team to claim their accounts.

Enough about us. Where should you start?

Even if you are a seasoned player I recommend checking out the 101 section and have a run through a few lessons to brush up. You’d be shocked at how many players write to tell me how much they get out of freshening up on the basics. After that, it’s up to you. Collections are a great way to focus on specific skills.

We are a community

Every community has its own culture and the Greenroom is a great place to get to know ours. It’s filled with playing tips to expand your skills, reviews on the latest gear, ideas for your worship sets and even some humor to put a smile on your face.  Be sure to jump in the comment threads and add your voice to the conversation.

Bring Your Best

More than anything, Worship Artistry is about walking with you on your musical journey. Whether you are a total beginner who has never picked up an instrument, an intermediate musician who is trying to grow your skill or a seasoned musician who just wants to expand your song library and work on your arrangement skills, we are here to help your best become even better.

The whole Band?

You give advice for drums, bass , guitar, keyboard, vocals...but where is the solo instruments? many of us in the church have spent years learning our instruments yet you have no time or space for clarinets, flutes trumpets, violins, cello's etc etc. Shame on you! I hope you are aiming to address this.

Hi Floyd.

First of all, thank you for spending so much time practicing and working on your solo instrument and wanting to use it in worship. We absolutely encourage this and even have a podcast about it! You can listen to it here:

https://worshipartistry.com/greenroom/worship-leading/solo-instruments-in-worship

That being said, we specialize in creating tutorials that reproduce worship songs for a typical rock band setup. We feel this is the best way we can serve the church with the limited resources we (and often the church) have. While we love and encourage solo instruments they fall outside our scope of expertise. My comment about a full band was not meant to exclude anyone.

It sounds like we probably aren't going to be a resource that fits your needs but we bless you in your instrument and hope you continue to grow as you serve your church body. Thanks for checking us out.

Blessings.
